Xbox has announced its participation in Tokyo Game Show 2026, bringing special livestreams, booth demos, and the Xbox FanFest Tokyo event. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Xbox brand and celebrates over 20 years since its entry into the Japanese market.
The Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2026 livestream will air on September 17 at 7 PM JST, hosted by Misuzu Araki. It will feature TGS-exclusive content, new gameplay demos, and segments specially crafted for the event.
On the exhibition floor, Minecraft Dungeons 2 makes its Tokyo Game Show debut following its premiere at Gamescom, allowing fans to get their hands on it for the first time. The game launches on Game Pass on September 29. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will also be present, offering players an early taste of its multiplayer mode ahead of the global release on October 23. The Xbox booth is located in Hall 6, 06-N4.
The black cat mascot for Xbox at Tokyo Game Show is making a return this year, with an official fan vote to name it. Xbox FanFest Tokyo will be held on September 17, featuring a live viewing party and special guests Misuzu Araki and Larry Hryb.
