Ubisoft Confirms Rayman Legends Remastered Development Complete, Release Delayed to December 3

Recently, Ubisoft announced that Rayman Legends Remastered has completed development but will not launch on its originally scheduled date of October 1. The game has been delayed until December 3, pushing back the release by approximately two months.

育碧确认《雷曼传奇:重制版》完成开发 发售推迟至12月3日

Ubisoft confirmed the new date in a post on Bluesky, stating that although development is complete, the team has decided to invest more time to ensure all details are properly polished.

This platform action game remake was originally scheduled for release on October 1, coinciding with the launch of several new titles. Ubisoft cited the need for further refinement as the reason for the delay, rather than competition from other releases during the same period.

Traditionally, "completion of development" meant that the game content was finalized and ready for physical production. With digital distribution, day-one patches, and subsequent updates becoming the norm, this milestone no longer signifies that all work is finished. Rayman Legends Remastered will continue to be refined even after its delay.

The front of the game packaging also notes that an internet connection is required for installation. Ubisoft has currently confirmed December 3 as the latest release date, with no further details provided regarding other distribution arrangements in this announcement.
