Neowiz Applies for 'Wonders of O' Trademark, Possibly the Title for Lies of P Sequel

Neowiz has applied for the "Wonders of O" trademark, tentatively translated as Wonders of O. This name may be related to the Lies of P sequel currently being developed by Round8 Studio, but the official title of the sequel has not yet been confirmed.

The ending of Lies of P left clues for the subsequent story. In the relevant cutscene, a pair of iconic red shoes appears in Krat, while a girl resembling Dorothy overlooks the city, hinting that the sequel may shift to a The Wizard of Oz theme.

The "O" in this trademark is therefore believed to possibly represent Oz from The Wizard of Oz. However, the trademark application itself only proves that Neowiz is protecting the name; it does not yet confirm whether it will ultimately become the game's title.

As of May 2026, Round8 Studio has entered the "full-scale development phase" for the sequel. There is currently no evidence that the game is imminent, and it may still be several years away from its official release.

Lies of P reinterprets the Pinocchio story with a dark style. The new trademark and ending clues further point toward The Wizard of Oz direction, but the sequel's title and specific setting still await official announcement from Neowiz.
