tinyBuild and developer Fire & Frost have announced that the open-world fantasy RPG Ashes & Steel will be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series platforms. A new DLC titled "Shattered Faith" is also in development, with release dates for both yet to be revealed.
Ashes & Steel is a third-person open-world RPG. The game blends traditional role-playing mechanics with modern design, set on a once-prosperous island where players must explore the lands of the Seven Kingdoms, hone their combat skills, and survive in a dangerous environment.
The "Shattered Faith" DLC centers around a mysterious expedition. Players will venture into the lost and forgotten corners of the Ashen Handle region, following in the footsteps of those who came before to seek powerful relics, making friends and facing enemies along the way.
This new adventure will further uncover secrets left by figures from the past. The protagonist, Tristan, will also reexamine his fate and attempt to break free from the path long set out for him.
Ashes & Steel launched on PC via Steam and GOG on November 6, 2025. Release dates for the PS5 and Xbox Series versions, as well as the "Shattered Faith" DLC, have not yet been announced.
