Jupiter has officially announced the puzzle game Picross S: Zenith. The game will launch in Japan on December 10 for Switch 2 and Switch, priced at 2,980 yen. The physical edition for Switch 2 will be released in a Game Key Card format, priced at 3,480 yen.
This title compiles 1,020 carefully selected puzzles from the nine games in the Picross S series, ranging from Picross S to Picross S9. Additionally, 40 brand-new high-difficulty bonus puzzles have been prepared for veteran players of the series. By linking save data from any Picross S series title, players can unlock these bonus contents.
The game includes four existing modes from the series: Standard Picross, Super Picross, Color Picross, and Clip Picross, while also introducing an "Extra" mode featuring 40x30 grids.
Background music from previous titles will also make a return. Players can freely set tracks during gameplay or listen to them at any time via the built-in "Sound Player."
In terms of controls, Picross S: Zenith supports touch screen and Joy-Con mouse operations. When using button controls, the game allows up to four players to participate simultaneously.
