Microsoft has announced the Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass lineup for late September (September 16–October 6). A total of 13 games are scheduled to join the service, with Atomic Heart, Bird in the Well, Minecraft Dungeons 2, and Gears of War: E-Day arriving on their release day.

The magical girl-themed action RPG Atomic Heart will launch on September 17 for Ultimate and PC Game Pass members, available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Cloud Gaming. Featuring Roguelike gameplay, it supports single-player and online co-op, allowing players to control four magical girls battling in an ash-covered world.
Bird in the Well is scheduled to launch into the catalog on September 22, joining both Ultimate and PC Game Pass. It will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and via Cloud Gaming. This dark fairy tale-style Metroidvania lets players play as Glimmer, a bird wielding a matchstick, exploring, fighting, and solving puzzles to rescue their family.
Minecraft Dungeons 2 will join the lineup on September 29. This action RPG is the sequel to Minecraft Dungeons, supporting single-player and cooperative multiplayer modes, continuing the adventure with new threats, regions, and challenges.
Gears of War: E-Day is scheduled to launch into the catalog on October 6. Set 14 years before the original Gears of War, the game depicts the Locust Horde's first underground assault, focusing on Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago. It supports single-player, cooperative, and competitive multiplayer modes, and will feature Japanese voice acting.
Other new additions include Marvel Cosmic Invasion, Lona's World 2, Routine, Ultimate Sheep Raccoon, Ninja Gaiden 4, Dune: Awakening, Mad King Redemption, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and Keeper, with several titles available to Premium members.
Additionally, Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault joined the service on September 2. The online competitive soccer game Kick Off! REMATCH will enter the Essential tier catalog on September 25, with each player controlling a single position on the field.
