The products that include test access are the Aetherborn Epic Bundle and the World of Warcraft: Infinite Collector's Edition, priced at $59.99 or £51.99, and $79.99 or £69.99 respectively. Both products are available for purchase through the Battle.net Shop.

Players can also register for the test on the official World of Warcraft: Infinite website, but registration does not guarantee selection. At this stage, only purchasing the specified bundles mentioned above ensures access, and the specific launch date for the test has not yet been announced.

The initial character level cap during the test will be 20, increasing to 30 after a few weeks. The full release will have a level cap of 60, featuring new stories, a new class, and over 1,000 new quests. It will also introduce the Aetherborn race, new dungeons, new raids, and a PvP battleground.

This game is positioned as a long-term version running parallel to the modern World of Warcraft and World of Warcraft Classic.

World of Warcraft: Infinite is scheduled to launch on November 4, 2026. Players with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time will be able to enter the game without purchasing the aforementioned bundles, but accessing the Aetherborn race will require upgrading to the corresponding version.

The character name reservation event will run from October 27 to November 3, open to players who purchase any upgrade content. During the event, each player can create and customize up to three characters, with character names reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
