Microsoft has announced the second batch of games for Xbox Game Pass in September and provided an early look at some of the plans for early October. A total of 12 games will be gradually added to the Xbox and PC Game Pass subscription libraries.
This round of titles covers cloud gaming, consoles, handhelds, and PC, but the supported platforms and subscription tiers vary by title. Rune World: Dragon's Wilderness will be available on cloud gaming and PC, while Marvel Cosmic Invasion, Lona's Star 2, and Routine will cover cloud gaming, consoles, handhelds, and PC.
In the action game category, Ninja Gaiden 4 will be added to Game Pass Premium and will also be available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will undergo similar adjustments for the aforementioned tiers, with support for cloud gaming, consoles, handhelds, and PC.
The open-world survival game Dune: Awakening is scheduled to launch its full version on PC and consoles on September 22, simultaneously covering cloud gaming and handheld devices. This version will include improvements accumulated during the early access phase, along with a complete single-player mode.
The dark fairy tale-style Metroidvania game Inhabitants of the Well will also join the subscription library on September 22. Minecraft Dungeons 2 is set to launch on September 29, supporting cloud gaming, consoles, handhelds, and PC, and will be available to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass users.
The existing game lineup will also see changes. Titles such as Atomic Heart and Sifu are planned to leave Game Pass on September 30, allowing subscribers to continue playing them before they are removed.
