Hot Toys is set to release a 1/6 scale figure of Sam Porter Bridges from Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, but a noticeable spelling error has appeared in the text on the suit shown in the preview video. "Tomorrow" has been misspelled as "Tomorrew."
Sideshow recently released a preview video for the figure, showcasing its design details, accessories, and interchangeable parts. Fans subsequently noticed that the English slogan on the back of Sam's suit read "BOTH STICK AND ROPE, TO PROTECT AND CONNECT, TOGETHER, FOR TOMORREW," with a spelling error in the last word.
Based on current previews, the error appears to be present across all versions. It remains unclear whether similar issues exist on other suit texts or accessories, and there is no indication that Hot Toys will correct the content before official shipment.
The figure features over 30 points of articulation, along with rotatable eyes, various connection parts and a storage case, different BB devices, and UV-reactive elements. Some premium versions also include LED lights, collector cards, and display cases.
Pre-orders are now open for this 1/6 scale Sam figure, scheduled for release in December at a price exceeding $400. Given the emphasis on accuracy and detail in collectible products, this text error on the suit has drawn significant attention.
