EA will launch the Street Fighter 6 crossover event in Apex Legends on September 23, 2026. The event will revamp the Olympus map and introduce a limited-time mode, eight Legend skins, Legendary weapon skins, and the "Hadoken" Heirloom weapon.
During the crossover event, Olympus will be decorated with Street Fighter 6-themed elements. The area for Pathfinder's Punch Night will be transformed into a venue modeled after Luke's Training Gym, featuring a giant statue of Luke, arcade machines, Blanka doll balloons, punching bags, and dumbbells. Locations such as the Growth Tower will also adopt the red and blue color schemes commonly seen in fighting games.
Olympus will also feature the limited-time mode "Wild Card Takeover." At the start, players must choose a fighter. By collecting tokens through combat and filling the Fighter Gauge, they can activate "Fighter Mode." Once activated, the camera switches to third-person view, granting the player the selected fighter's passive effects and unique abilities.
Upon entering Fighter Mode, characters gain enhanced melee capabilities, damage reduction, and defensive abilities, allowing them to execute moves such as "Hadoken," "Shoryuken," and "Shun Goku Satsu." Destructible "Punch Trucks" will appear on the map; destroying these vehicles yields tokens needed to fill the Fighter Gauge. If you survive until the final round, the match will enter the "Final Showdown," where downed and respawning players will rejoin the battle.
This crossover features eight Legend skins, corresponding to the following pairings:RyuRyu, Mirage and Chun-Li, Wraith and Luke, Caustic and Blanka, Gibraltar and Akuma, Wattson and Cammy, Pathfinder and Dhalsim, and Bangalore and Elena. Epic skins themed around Lifeline and Revenant can also be unlocked in the Rewards Store.
Weapon skins are available for the R-99, EVA-8, Parallel Rifle, Devotion LMG, G7 Scout, Mozambique, Sentinel, and Peacekeeper. Additional customization options include skydiving emotes, banners, and holo-sprays. The "Hadoken" Heirloom weapon allows players to perform the signature move during melee attacks, complete with exclusive voice lines, energy effects, and crossover-themed death boxes.
