Wild Dog.exe has announced that Japanese Ramen Simulator will enter Early Access on Steam on September 28, 2026. The game supports online co-op for up to 6 players, who must work together to manage a ramen shop.
The Early Access version will include ingredient preparation, cooking ramen and gyoza, serving beer, delivering orders, welcoming customers, and cleaning the shop. Players can also develop original menu items, arrange ingredients using physics effects, and customize the shop's layout and decor.
Running the restaurant doesn't always go according to plan. Fires may break out, and critics or thieves might visit, requiring players to handle emergencies using items like shuriken and fire extinguishers. The multiplayer mode allows teammates to split different roles, while solo players can hire part-time staff to keep the shop running.
Wild Dog.exe previously released Keep Digging, a co-op title supporting up to 8 players where participants dig underground with a target depth of 1,000 meters. The game achieved global sales of 450,000 copies. When Japanese Ramen Simulator was announced this August, only a September release window was confirmed; this announcement further specifies the exact launch date.
The development team plans for the Early Access phase of Japanese Ramen Simulator to last approximately six months, though the actual duration may be adjusted based on development progress and player feedback. During this period, they will continue to improve game systems, add content, and optimize based on community input between major updates. As significant content is added and the full release approaches, the game's price will increase in stages; players who purchase during Early Access will not need to pay extra for subsequent price adjustments.
