Valve has announced the Steam weekly revenue chart for September 8–15, 2026. War Dogs ranked first among paid games, with Halloween: The Game and Body Cam taking second and third place respectively. This ranking is based on revenue generated, not units sold.
The tactical online shooter War Dogs entered Early Access on September 10, reaching 2 million sales and a peak concurrent player count of over 428,000 on Steam. The game topped this week's chart thanks to its post-launch revenue performance.
The co-op horror game Halloween: The Game, which ranked second, officially launched on September 8, attracting over 1 million players. Body Cam came in third.
Last week's number one, Blood of the Dawnwalker, dropped to fourth place this week, followed closely by the indie title How to Fish at fifth.
Diablo IV climbed to sixth place after launching a 75% discount on Steam, with the new season "Vessel of Hatred Collection" also going live, further boosting the game's popularity. Onimusha: Way of the Sword ranked seventh.
Borderlands 4, Valheim, and NBA 2K27 took the eighth to tenth spots respectively. Borderlands 4 released several paid DLCs last week, while Valheim recently concluded its Early Access phase.
