This domestic garbage game reeks of mobile gaming. It's filled with the same old mobile game content. Can't they make something actually fun? It's truly trash with no future. It's 2026, and they've made a PC game that feels like a mobile game, complete with an energy/stamina system. Are the developers idiots? Just release it as a mobile game then!

After launching the game, I was stuck for an hour with updates... Is this really part of the gaming experience?

Is this character creation serious? The male character looks extremely feminine. No matter how you customize him, he ends up looking like a lesbian. Is this game not intended for male players at all? The principal in the tutorial looked handsome, so why does the player character look so effeminate? What's the difference between playing as a male or female character?
The gameplay is decent, with controller support. In combat, you can either command your Pokémon to use basic attacks or possess them to personally execute skills and engage in melee combat. This battle system was unexpected, and I'd give it high marks for that. I haven't seen any microtransactions yet; maybe they're locked or not released. However, I strongly advise you to increase the customization options for the male protagonist's face. He looks way too feminine—there are only short-haired tomboy and long-haired female styles.
The more you play, the more microtransaction content gets unlocked—things like monthly passes, battle passes, gift packs, and costumes. Pokémon of various types bombard you. I've only played Pokémon on the NS, so I don't know how the monetization in Luo Ke Wang Guo compares. But I noticed that even Poké Balls can be earned through grinding.

Domestic games are indeed shit.
After downloading via Steam, opening the game triggered another download. First 50MB, then 1.23GB, then 1.58GB. Then the 1.58GB download got stuck at 99.31% for a full five minutes. No idea what it was doing.
The worst part is the incredibly slow speed. I checked my network usage, and it wasn't even using 10% of my bandwidth. What the hell am I downloading? The download took so long that I lost over 30 rounds of Dou Dizhu (a card game). I lost about 4.14 million beans.
At the time of writing this review, Steam showed my playtime as 45 minutes.
Great. Just great. I wasted 45 minutes on this pointless secondary download for a crappy game. If I don't leave a negative review, I'd be betraying myself.
After playing for 4 hours and progressing through the story until defeating a major boss (a sheep), features probably started unlocking. The UI style suddenly changed, and the screen became flooded with various red notification dots.
Then I immediately saw those typical Chinese mobile-game-style pages designed to boost daily active users and encourage spending. All sorts of crap like daily check-ins and weekly tasks appeared. I haven't played these kinds of domestic garbage games in years, thinking things might have changed by now. But nope, it's still the same old trash.
I only downloaded it because I was interested in the art style and the pet-bonding gameplay. Now it seems unnecessary to continue. Those who enjoy the daily login rewards and daily task grind typical of Chinese mobile games are welcome to keep playing this garbage.

What is this junk? Comparing it to Palworld is a joke. It's total crap.
