Torn Banner Releases Hell Let Loose 2 Update 1.1 "Supply Drop" and Announces Roadmap for the Rest of the Year

Torn Banner Studios has released the 1.1 "Resupply" update for No More Room in Hell 2, shown as patch 1.007 on consoles. This free update adds new scenarios and gun attachments, along with adjustments to gameplay, UI, and numerous fixes. The development team also announced the game's roadmap for the rest of the year.

The "Resupply" update adds a reverse-flow scenario for Portsville. All Responders drop onto the downtown rooftops together, then need to calibrate antennas to unlock more map areas. Teams must also locate and burn corpses to prevent further NPV-26 outbreaks, finally reaching the perimeter to extract.

The gun modification system now includes muzzle, barrel, and side attachments. New equipment includes muzzle brakes that significantly reduce recoil, compensators that balance recoil and hip-fire spread, laser sights that reduce hip-fire spread, and chokes that improve mid-range lethality for shotguns.

The UI can now display additional XP and currency reward events; players can hover over the icons to view specific bonuses. A final respawn window has also been added at the start of the extraction phase. Restaurant objectives have been adjusted to align more closely with survival holdout gameplay, while map items now use the new loot distribution system.

Horde composition under high threat levels has also changed. At Threat Level 10, the ratio of Normal Walkers to Elite Walkers shifts from 60%/40% to 39%/59%; the ratio of Normal Runners to Elite Runners changes from 10%/5% to 7%/10%. Character strafe-back speed is now closer to forward movement speed.

This patch fixes issues such as incorrect ammo consumption for MP5 burst fire, explosives remaining pickable after detonation, and medical kits occasionally not being consumed when healing teammates. It also improves zombie spawning, footstep audio, pathfinding, and map collision. A timer has been added to the antenna objective in Portsville, and objective text, icons, and scene anomalies across multiple maps have been addressed.

Regarding controller controls, focus issues in the main menu, scoreboard, social, customization, and settings screens have been fixed, and players can now accept or reject party and friend requests via new button inputs. Additionally, the update includes various fixes for crashes, achievement progress, report submission, skill effects, and multiplayer lists.
