Leaked Concept Art Reveals Warner Bros.' Canceled Cross-IP Kart Racing Game, Featuring Bugs Bunny and Other Characters

A batch of leaked concept art reveals that Warner Bros. Games was developing a cross-IP kart racing game codenamed Project Moonlight. According to the leaker, the project aimed to bring together multiple Warner Bros. franchises but has since been cancelled.

The relevant images were posted on X by user AusilMVS on September 16. According to them, Project Moonlight was intended to be a title similar to Mario Kart and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, featuring racers from various series such as Looney Tunes and Teen Titans.

The concept art features Bugs Bunny and Cyborg, both wearing outfits inspired by The Flintstones. The images also showcase karts designed with references to Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time and Bubbles from The Powerpuff Girls, with visual elements from different franchises unified in a cartoonish style.

Warner Bros. previously attempted to unite several of its IPs in a single game with MultiVersus. The platform fighter once featured dozens of Warner Bros. series, but ceased operations in 2025 following a decline in player count and management changes. Current reports suggest that the cancellation of Project Moonlight was also linked to MultiVersus's subsequent performance.

Currently, the only available information consists of these concept images and the leaker's description; the development team remains unidentified. It is also unclear how far the project progressed before its cancellation, so it cannot be confirmed whether it entered full production or remained solely in the conceptual design phase.
