TT Games pushed update 1.010 for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on September 16, adding data for the "Villain Pack" DLC in advance. All players will receive a download prompt for this update, regardless of whether they purchase the DLC.
The "Villain Pack" is scheduled for release on September 18 alongside the "Chaos Pack" DLC. This content will add a villain-themed costume for each of the game's original seven playable characters, as well as a villain-themed Batmobile and five Batcave customization items.
The Switch 2 version of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will also be released on September 18. Players who purchase the Switch 2 Deluxe Edition will receive both the "Chaos Pack" and "Legacy Pack" DLCs at launch.
The "Chaos Pack" adds the Joker and Harley Quinn to the roster of playable characters, featuring them in a new story mission where they escape from Arkham Asylum. This pack also includes the "Chaos Mode" set on the streets of Gotham City, along with costumes, Batcave items, and vehicles from the "Villain Pack."
The "Legacy Pack" offers more costumes, vehicles, and Batcave items, with designs inspired by the Batman: Arkham game series, the Batman Beyond animated TV series, and a party music-themed content pack.
Players who purchase the physical Deluxe Edition for Switch 2 will also receive a LEGO Retro Video Game Batman minifigure, available while supplies last. The currently announced content for update 1.010 mainly focuses on data for the "Villain Pack," with no other gameplay adjustments confirmed yet.
