SummerClip has announced that the 3D action roguelike game Ved: The Sanctuary will officially launch on September 22, 2026, on PC via Steam. The full version will include a complete four-chapter main story and seven playable characters.
Featuring anime-style visuals, the game puts players in control of characters trapped in a mysterious game world as they engage in combat. Each of the seven characters boasts unique combat mechanics and progression paths, with distinct controls and fighting styles.
The combat system allows players to assign buffs to actions such as combo finishers, special attacks, dodge counters, and parries. Upon completing the corresponding actions, these additional effects trigger sequentially. Players can also link different effects using the Buff Chain system to customize their offensive and defensive strategies.
The full version includes over 150 buffs and more than 50 pieces of equipment. Players can adjust their combinations based on the bosses they face and their personal playstyles, striking a balance between offensive power and defensive capabilities.
In addition to the four main chapters, the complete version will feature 16 boss battles, along with Boss Rush, Endless Mode, and a Training Ground. The development team has also adjusted resource acquisition and character progression systems to streamline the overall gameplay experience.
The game features full Japanese voice acting, with voice actors including Ikumi Hasegawa, Tomoyo Takayanagi, and Mai Kadowaki. Ved: The Sanctuary is currently scheduled for an official release on Steam on September 22.
