On September 17, COSEN released the PS5 physical standard edition, physical limited edition, and digital version of the alchemical academy RPG "Alchemia Rogue: Mia and the Mystery Labyrinth," along with the PS4 digital version. The game supports Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and English subtitles, with Japanese voice acting.
This title is an all-ages adaptation of Ninetail's PC game of the same name, ported to home consoles. Set against the backdrop of the continent of Alks facing a dust crisis, the story takes place at the Cagliostro Academy of Magic.
Players will follow the protagonist Shin on his adventure, meeting his childhood senior Aria, Princess Seris who aspires to become an alchemist, and Enri, a familiar searching for her own meaning. As they experience various events and deepen their bonds, they join forces to resist the "Dust World Erosion," a catastrophe that threatens to destroy the world.
The game is divided into ADV mode and RPG mode. The former focuses on interacting with partners and building relationships; the latter centers on combat and party growth, allowing players to form contracts with the Creator Gods who protect the world, harness their power to advance the adventure, collect materials, and craft equipment through alchemy.
In addition to equipment crafting, the game features the collection of Creator God crystals known as "Divine Crests," multiple difficulty levels, and New Game+ functionality. In the game's lore, the Creator Gods who protect the continent are gradually transforming into "Calamity Gods" that erode the land, while "Ash Demons" born from the dust begin attacking the living, prompting young alchemists to gather at the Cagliostro Academy of Magic.
The PS5 physical standard edition is priced at 7,700 yen (tax included), and the physical limited edition at 12,100 yen (tax included). The limited edition includes two soundtracks, an acrylic standee, a poster card, and a digital art setting book. The game was previously released for Nintendo Switch in both physical and digital formats on November 7, 2024.
