Developer NEOLAVI has revealed the Steam page for its new title, "Is the Her You Support Really the Her You Know?" This document-checking adventure game blends VTuber themes with suspense elements and is scheduled for release in Fall 2026.
The game is set at "Stellaria," a rapidly rising VTuber agency. Players take on the role of a newly hired entrance security guard, responsible for screening visitors while gradually uncovering the events unfolding behind the live streaming activities.
The protagonist's true reason for taking this job is to get closer to and protect Luna Hoshino, a VTuber under the agency. As a fan who has supported her since her debut, the protagonist works daytime security at the entrance and watches her live streams at night, frequently sending expensive Super Chats.
During your shift, you must verify documents such as entry passes, schedules, and affiliation certificates to determine whether visitors are allowed into the agency. As in-game time progresses, inspection procedures will gradually expand, including checking anti-counterfeit marks, using X-rays to scan personal belongings, and performing voiceprint authentication.
Players must constantly make choices between following security protocols and their feelings for their favorite idol. The sweet smiles seen during live streams gradually diverge from the reality witnessed by the protagonist at the agency's entrance, revealing the hidden side of the organization.
"Is the Her You Support Really the Her You Know?" supports Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese, and is expected to launch on Steam in Fall 2026.
