astragon Entertainment has announced that the "Construction Site Missions" DLC for Firefighting Simulator - The Squad is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The new content adds a mission location and three main missions, where players will handle various emergencies at an unfinished construction site.
Flammable liquids and other hazardous materials are scattered throughout construction sites, posing threats not only to responding firefighters but also to civilians on site. Players must stay alert to the unique risks present in construction environments and complete firefighting and rescue missions according to the situation at hand.
In Firefighting Simulator - The Squad, players take on the role of American firefighters, extinguishing fires and rescuing trapped individuals. The game supports up to four-player co-op and can also be played solo, with AI-controlled teammates assisting the player.
Developer weltenbauer stated that the team drew on years of experience from developing the Construction Simulator series while creating this DLC. Unlike Construction Simulator, which focuses on the construction process, this expansion emphasizes the hazards and emergencies that can occur on construction sites. The series will continue to evolve with the recently announced Construction Simulator: Evolution.
The publisher has simultaneously released Firefighting Simulator - The Squad: Year 1 Edition on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The edition includes the base game, the "Construction Site Missions" DLC, and the Year 1 Season Pass. According to the publisher, purchasing the Year 1 Season Pass separately saves over 35% compared to buying all included DLCs individually.
