The display specifications for Monster Hunter Wilds on Nintendo Switch 2 have been announced. The game offers two TV modes and one handheld mode, all targeting 30 frames per second, with ray tracing disabled.
When playing on TV, players can choose between Resolution Priority and Frame Rate Priority modes. Resolution Priority mode runs at 2240×1260, while Frame Rate Priority mode runs at 1920×1080.
The handheld mode runs at a resolution of 1536×864. Although the three modes offer different resolutions, all target 30 frames per second.
The suggested retail price for the Nintendo Switch 2 Digital Standard Edition is $39.99. The Digital Gold Edition is priced at $79.99 and includes the base game plus various cosmetic items; the Physical Deluxe Edition is priced at $39.99 and includes the base game along with a deluxe bundle featuring cosmetic content.
Digital pre-orders will open on October 19, 2026. A free prologue demo will also be released before the official launch, allowing players to experience the opening content in advance.
Capcom has confirmed that Monster Hunter Wilds for Nintendo Switch 2 will be released on December 4, 2026, and will include all updates released prior to launch.
