Former Nintendo Executive Calls Staggered Release of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake" a Wise Choice

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake will launch on Switch 2 on November 5, two weeks ahead of GTA 6's release on November 19. Former Nintendo of America PR Manager Krysta Yang believes this scheduling allows players to avoid having to choose between the two titles immediately.

Krysta Yang currently co-hosts the YouTube channel "Kit and Krysta" with Kit. Discussing the release date for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake, she said the timing is good and expressed relief that the two titles weren't scheduled for the same day.

She admitted that if both games were released at the same time, and if The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake were a faithful remake of the original, she would still prioritize GTA 6.

With the current schedule, there is a full two-week gap between the two releases. Krysta Yang stated that she doesn't need to make a simultaneous choice now; she can finish The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake first before moving on to GTA 6.
