Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 6 is now live, with the Halloween Horror event returning. This season adds new maps, limited-time modes, and four weapons, along with a DOOM-themed Event Pass.
Season 6 is also the final ranked season before the game transitions to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Treyarch stated that this ranked season will last only three weeks, giving players this window to climb the ranks.
The new multiplayer map "Quantum" is set in a quantum computing facility beneath the Arctic ice, featuring dense cover and multiple flanking routes. The revamped "Homestead" returns as "Blood Manor," with zombies roaming the map; the seasonal Hardpoint mode also introduces undead enemies to the battlefield.
The 6v6 mode "TEDD Trials" brings three Zombie maps into standard multiplayer. Each match rotates through five trials, with the first team to reach the score limit winning. Players can also earn the Ray Gun during matches. The three locations are based on Exit 115 from "Ashes of the Damned," the Ancestral Castle from "Terrorville," and the Remote Lighthouse from "Empire of the Dead."
Among the four new weapons, the VMP submachine gun and the TR51 Para assault rifle are available through the Battle Pass. The former features full-auto fire, emphasizing rate of fire and mobility; the latter boasts higher damage and bullet velocity, starting as semi-automatic but modifiable to full-auto. Event rewards include the melee weapon "Arc Blade" and the Roc 20mm semi-automatic cannon, which can be switched to full-auto.
Zombies mode adds the survival map "Tenshu," where players must hold off enemies within a confined area of "Terrorville." "Infernal Overlord" joins Guided Mode, while "Starting Room" recreates the opening scene of "Night of the Undead" from Call of Duty: World at War. Additionally, "Avalon" opens its Night Mode and special summon events, with a new major Easter egg unlocking the "Warden" operator.
This season of Call of Duty: Warzone introduces "Haunted Valley" and the 64-player "Large-Scale Infection" mode. The latter begins with eight players on the Infected team, and any fallen survivors join their ranks; survivors must craft and defend a DNA Bomb until it detonates to secure victory.
The DOOM Event Pass is limited-time content. The free track includes operator skins for Weaver and Faulkner, along with the Roc 20mm weapon. The paid track unlocks the DOOM Slayer operator affiliated with JSOC and another "Doom Guy" skin.
