This title is a remake of "Final Mission," a scrolling shooter released by NATSUME for the NES (FC) in 1990, commonly known in China as "Air Contra." The new version adopts a visual style closer to 16-bit console games, with significant changes. The first demo stage still follows the original's scrolling route—first right, then up, followed by right and down—but the enemy types and placements have been completely overhauled.

The demo version at the event still has some features locked, but the main menu already includes options for two-player co-op and difficulty selection. Current public information suggests that the full release may offer four playable characters, while this demo only allows you to play as Frederick, whose gameplay is relatively traditional. The game displays four difficulty levels, including Normal, one Easy setting, and two higher difficulties.

The control system has also been redesigned. When using an Xbox controller, pushing the directional stick backward makes the character retreat while maintaining their facing direction; holding the RT button is required to turn around. The option fighter will lock its attack direction when the player holds the fire button; upon releasing the fire button, the option fighter will change direction along with the character's forward and backward movement, differing from the original FC version which used a separate lock button.

Character and scene elements in the demo are larger, resulting in a relatively narrower playable area. The game also introduces a bomb mechanic common in scroll shooters, which can clear threats in emergencies. The Normal difficulty presents a certain challenge for newcomers, but players can gradually adapt once they become familiar with the system and enemy patterns.

"Final Mission" retains core elements such as side-scrolling shooter mechanics and two-player cooperation. Previously released trailers also showcased remastered music. The official release date and platforms have not yet been confirmed.
