Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have announced that the demo for "Dynasty Warriors 2: Xtreme Legends Remastered" will be released on September 24, 2026. The full version is scheduled for launch one week later on October 1.
This title is a remaster of a tactical action game, launching on PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC platforms, with the PC version available on Steam.
The developers also confirmed that the game plans to add online co-op functionality via a free post-launch update, no later than January 2027.
Before the addition of online co-op, this title only supported local split-screen for two-player gameplay. This update will further provide remote multiplayer options, though the specific release date has not yet been announced.
