Jay's fan-made game, The Legend of Zelda: Temple of Seasons, has now been released. This project reimagines the adventure based on The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and features five dungeons for players to explore.
In addition to redesigned dungeon content, The Legend of Zelda: Temple of Seasons introduces new items for players to use. For those familiar with The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, these changes represent the main new additions in this fan-made adaptation.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons originally launched on Game Boy Color, alongside its counterpart The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages as part of the series on that platform. Both titles are now included in the Nintendo Classics library on Nintendo Switch Online, allowing them to be played on modern Nintendo hardware.
Nintendo's next Legend of Zelda title will be a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, scheduled for release on November 5. The game will leverage Nintendo Switch 2 hardware for enhanced visuals, while also adjusting certain gameplay mechanics and improving controls, including the addition of dedicated run and jump buttons.
Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack on Nintendo Switch 2 also offers GameCube titles; The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is now available on the platform, while the Nintendo 64 version of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is included in the existing game library.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has not yet been added to the Nintendo Switch 2 game library. Its original versions remain on GameCube and Wii, while the HD edition was released exclusively on Wii U. The recent 40th-anniversary Nintendo Direct also did not announce any port for this title.
