SEGA has unveiled a new Japan map for the driving action game Crazy Taxi: World Tour. This map can be played in Story Mode and other content, featuring Tokyo landmarks, Mount Fuji, and various real-world brand stores.
The Japan map features bustling intersections and highways weaving between skyscrapers. Iconic landmarks such as Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Skytree, and Mount Fuji are included, creating driving routes with a distinct Japanese character.
In addition to real-world scenery, brands such as Ichiran, Kani Doraku, and SHIBUYA109 will appear as in-game stores. These locations will serve as destinations where players can drop off passengers.
SEGA also released a trailer for the Japan map, presented in the style of a travel guide. The video showcases tracks with Japanese flair, various passengers, and local特色 activities.
Crazy Taxi: World Tour is scheduled for release in 2027 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Steam, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game supports single-player gameplay, with online modes accommodating up to six players.
