The release date has not yet been announced, but the game is now available for wishlisting on Steam.

According to foreign media outlet PC Gamer, Nightdive has preserved the original art style, presenting the visual experience players remember through detailed adjustments. The user interface is another focal point of this showcase. The outlet noted controller support visuals in the trailer and pointed out that players can select items via a wheel. Similar designs already exist in community-made controller mods for the original game, leading to speculation that the remaster may have drawn inspiration from these community solutions.
