Rabbit's Harvest, which blends farming, tower defense, and roguelike mechanics, is scheduled for release on September 21, 2026, with a demo now available on Steam. Players take on the role of Sprout the rabbit, transforming their garden into a defensive line to fend off incursions from the raccoon gang known as the "Trash Panda Gang."
These raccoons have already wreaked havoc on the town, so Sprout must grow plant-based weapons to defend their home. Featuring 2D visuals, the game has players planting and preparing defenses during the day, then battling waves of raccoons at night. Sprout also joins the fight directly, requiring players to manage both plant defenses and control their character in combat.
Plant weapons must be cultivated in the garden and arranged on a grid. Players can concentrate firepower to suppress enemies or leverage synergies between different plants to organize their defense. The raccoons' assaults intensify each night; if defenses fail, they will destroy the garden and steal resources.
Between each challenge round, players can rebuild Sprout's town, including repairing shops and homes, welcoming new characters, and unlocking upgrades that aid in subsequent challenges. The game also offers dress-up options, allowing players to change Sprout's outfit with various costumes.
This PC Gaming Show debut showcased snowy biome areas, additional characters and plant towers, as well as an endless mode. The presentation also featured new raccoon enemies that appear to be pirates, and the release date was announced during the event.
