Public online voting took place from September 17 to 19, after which the selection committee reviewed and determined the winners, who were honored at the awards ceremony on September 20.
Bandai Namco's two award-winning titles are Ace Combat 8: Wings of Shilf and Gundam: Hetero-Track Traveler, both listed for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Square Enix's two winning titles are Final Fantasy VII: Revelation and Romancing SaGa 3: Intricate Fate.
Konami's Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, Spike Chunsoft's Danganronpa 2×2, and Sega's Different from Heaven also received awards. Among them, Danganronpa 2×2 is listed for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
Other award-winning titles include ATLUS's Persona 4 Reborn, Re,AER and Good Smile Company's Magical Girl's Customary Village, and Capcom's Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascension. The "Future Division" selection is not limited by platform; home consoles, handhelds, and PC titles are all eligible. Works by non-CESA members may also enter as long as they comply with the association's ethical guidelines, and Japanese versions of overseas releases are also included in the selection.
