The performance was held at the Legacy MAX Theater in Taipei. Over ten singers and traditional Chinese instrument performers from Black MYTH - Steam Edition: Wukong joined forces with the New Philharmonic Orchestra, reinterpreting multiple tracks from the game through symphonic music, traditional instruments, and live vocals accompanied by game visuals.
The Taipei stop featured nearly 20 game music tracks, including in-game adaptations of "Cloud Palace Swift Sound" and "Dare to Ask Where the Road Lies." Both pieces originate from the 1986 CCTV TV series "Journey to the West," with familiar melodies combined with game visuals and contemporary arrangements to once again present the cultural memory of "Journey to the West."
After the regular setlist, the short piece from "Black MYTH - Steam Edition: Zhong Kui" made its appearance during the encore. As the final note faded, the audience responded with applause and cheers, bringing the two-night performance to a close.
During the event, the key visual for the Black MYTH - Steam Edition: Wukong Global Concert was also displayed on multiple outdoor screens in Ximending, extending the performance-related imagery from the theater to the streets of Taipei.
