The Early Access version of "Guardians of Fate" receives its first feature update, adding controller support and addressing various experience-affecting issues related to combat, exploration, and control feedback. Player movement speed has been increased by 15% overall, accelerating the pace of world exploration and encounters.
In terms of combat, the update reduces archer accuracy to lessen situations where players are continuously suppressed by ranged attacks. Spells like Firespark now have longer ranges, making it easier for players to deal with Vrogs on the ground; the power of Tremor and Elemental Fortress has also been increased, potentially enhancing their ability to cause stagger.
Exploration and progression content has also been adjusted, with several chests and containers now offering better rewards. Changes also include camera movement during attacks, weapon sway, and feedback effects when the crosshair hits a target.
Additionally, the in-game spirit guide—a talking mouse—makes its return in this update. The currently released information does not include a complete patch list, update number, or release times for each platform; please refer to the official update notes for specific details.
