The final day of the Swiss Stage at the League of Legends 2026 World Championship has concluded. Karmine Corp, LYON, and Bilibili Gaming (BLG) each won their decisive matches to claim the last three spots in the Knockout Stage, completing the lineup of eight quarterfinalists.
Karmine Corp defeated Movistar KOI 2-0, avenging their loss in the LEC Summer Playoffs. In Game 1, MKOI held their ground for a while, but Supa's mistimed Flash engage became the turning point; in Game 2, MKOI quickly fell behind due to multiple early-game mistakes.
LYON lost the first game against LØS and fell behind by approximately 8,000 gold in Game 2. Berserker dealt massive damage with Smolder, allowing LYON to force a deciding Game 3 by backdooring through the bot lane. They ultimately completed the reversal, ending LØS's run toward the Knockout Stage.
BLG also trailed by around 4,000 gold in Game 1 against HLE. Knight landed a four-man Shockwave with Orianna and coordinated with Ezreal's ultimate to secure a comeback. In Game 2, BLG established an early lead and won the series 2-0.
The Quarterfinals matchups are now confirmed:
Dplus KIA vs. BLG
Karmine Corp vs. T1
Gen.G vs. LYON
TES vs. Invictus Gaming
With the Swiss Stage concluded, only these eight teams remain in the tournament.
