CI Games has secured a syndicated credit facility totaling €28.6 million to complete the development, global marketing, and launch of Lords of the Fallen 2, as well as to refinance existing bank debt in one go. The company did not raise funds by issuing new shares, so existing shareholders' holdings will not be diluted as a result.
This financing was arranged by two Polish banks, Erste Bank Polska and Bank Ochrony Środowiska, with approximately 80% of the credit facility guaranteed by the Polish export credit agency KUKE. The loan repayment deadline is August 2027, and CI Games expects to rely primarily on sales revenue from Lords of the Fallen 2 for repayment.
Marek Tymiński, President and largest shareholder of CI Games, stated that he will not sell any of his personal shares until the loan is fully repaid. Under this arrangement, the company retains the game's revenue and control, but the commercial performance of Lords of the Fallen 2 upon release will be directly linked to its debt repayment capability, with the company bearing the development and marketing costs itself.
CI Games had previously reached an agreement with Epic Games in June 2024, originally planning for the title to be exclusive to the Epic Games Store on PC. The two parties terminated this arrangement on April 14, 2026, after which the company confirmed that the game would also launch on Steam and Switch 2. Lords of the Fallen 2 was originally scheduled for release in 2026 but has now been pushed to the first quarter of 2027.
