Starbrew Games has announced that the open-world crafting and exploration adventure game Duck Side of the Moon will be coming to PS5, along with a free "Homegrown" update. The new content will expand on gardening, spaceship customization, and adventure gameplay.
Players will take on the role of Doug the Duck, traveling between various small planets to gather resources, craft tools, and gradually upgrade their crashed spaceship into a livable home. Along the way, they can help local characters, including talking rocks.
The core of the "Homegrown" update is the gardening system, allowing players to sow, grow, and harvest crops in space. Spaceship customization features will also be expanded, enabling players to collect different color schemes and adjust the styles of furniture and walls separately. The update will also introduce new characters, areas, and adventure content.
The new content unlocks roughly halfway through the main story, and players who have already completed the game can load their existing saves to experience it. This update will be available for free to all players. Duck Side of the Moon was previously released on Switch and PC via Steam on May 7.
