Nintendo will host an official midnight launch event in London, UK, for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Nintendo Switch 2 Remaster. The event is scheduled for Wednesday evening, with the game officially releasing on Thursday, November 5.
The event will take place at the Nintendo Experience Zone inside the Argos store on Tottenham Court Road. Players who purchase the game on-site can receive a free replica of the Nintendo 64 box, designed based on the original UK packaging. It includes an inner tray and outer sleeve, adjusted to fit the physical Nintendo Switch 2 game case.
Players who purchase the game will also receive an ocarina-shaped keychain. Both freebies are subject to on-site stock availability. This reissue packaging pays homage to the N64 version released in 1998 and serves as the main limited-edition content for this midnight launch event.
The Nintendo Experience Zone opened at this Argos store earlier this year, selling Nintendo consoles, games, and merchandise from series such as The Legend of Zelda, Mario, and Animal Crossing. Initially announced as a temporary area, it has continued operations. One week before this release, the 40th Anniversary Edition Nintendo Switch 2 console and Pro Controller were also launched.
