I am Shoon T, director of Rain98.
On October 17, we released the demo version.
Many friends quickly tried it out, and we received various impressions and opinions.
We sincerely thank both those who have supported us all along and those discovering this game for the first time.
What are your thoughts on Rena and this world? What parts did you enjoy? Were there any moments of confusion or usability issues?
We take all your feedback seriously and will use it as important reference for future production.
On another note, I would like to apologize and provide an explanation regarding the full release.
The original plan to release within 2026 has been postponed to 2027.
We are truly sorry for keeping you waiting so long and having to postpone the release again.
As mentioned in our previous letter, our desire to create a work that stays with you after playing remains unchanged.
However, achieving this throughout the entire work requires more production time than initially anticipated.
Rain98 aims to offer an experience where the days spent with Rena accumulate, allowing you to feel subsequent events as if they were your own. We hope the entire story will remain in your heart after completion.
After careful consideration, we have determined that more time is needed for production and adjustments to reach this level of polish.
It is our responsibility for not fully estimating the required time.
We hope to bring this story to its conclusion and deliver it to you as soon as possible. Development is currently proceeding with the goal of releasing the game within 2027.
Our next major step is a large update to the currently available demo, planned for early 2027, which will include additional story content.
We will also take your feedback into account and do our best to share updates on Rain98 in a playable format during the period leading up to release.
We will announce the official release date once we have a more concrete schedule.
