Koei Tecmo has announced a reevaluation of the release date and platforms for Nobunaga's Ambition: Soaring. The official livestream originally scheduled for November 4th has been postponed. The new release window, final platform lineup, and rescheduled livestream date have not yet been determined.
The game was previously scheduled to launch this winter on PS5, Switch 2, Switch, and PC (Steam). As the platform lineup is now under reevaluation, the original winter release window and four-platform plan can no longer be considered confirmed. Official announcements will follow once these arrangements are finalized.
As the latest entry in the Nobunaga's Ambition series, players will once again take on the role of a Sengoku daimyo, recruiting generals, managing territories, and expanding their power to unify the land. This title will also introduce the series-exclusive "Story Mode" for the first time, allowing players to learn gameplay mechanics and explore Sengoku history by following the life of Oda Nobunaga.
The castle town construction system, absent from the series for about 20 years, will also make a return. Players can plan facility layouts themselves, which will affect resource income. The new release date, platforms, and official livestream schedule are yet to be announced.
