Today is a big day for the programming game "Code Farm": the new DLC "Code Mine" has officially launched, and the game is now available on Android and iOS.
Programming games may seem niche at first glance, but "Code Farm" has now surpassed one million copies sold. Yes, you can now write code on your mobile device: the mobile version features a custom keyboard designed specifically for writing and editing code, and includes the new DLC. Honestly, the experience is so good that it surprised even us.
Zurich, Switzerland, November 2, 2026 - Metaroot and Timon Herzog are pleased to announce that "Code Mine" (a brand new DLC for the programming game "Code Farm") is now available on Steam. On the same day, "Code Farm" officially launched on Android and iOS, including the new DLC. To celebrate the DLC release, both the base game and the DLC are offered at a 30% discount, reaching new historical lows. "Code Farm" is priced at 42 CNY, discounted to 29.40 CNY; "Code Mine" is priced at 28 CNY, discounted to 19.6 CNY.
"Code Mine"
This DLC sends drones deep underground. A complete new branch has been added to the tech tree, introducing new mechanics and 8 new underground resources, including coal, quartz, mushrooms, and explosives! Players will program their drones to mine, explore, and optimize mining routes, excavating ancient ruins without damaging them, sorting colorful mushrooms, growing rice on clay, and finally learning how to play Minesweeper—all while avoiding blowing up their mining drones.
Now Available on Android and iOS
"Code Farm" is now available on mobile phones and tablets. The mobile version, developed by Ateo, includes "Code Mine," allowing players to experience the new mining content from day one. A custom keyboard makes coding and editing on touchscreens easier and more comfortable. While programming on a phone might sound unusual, we have put significant effort into making the controls intuitive and smooth.
Free Update for the Base Game
With the release of the DLC, all players will also receive a free update. The in-game documentation has been completely overhauled, with rewritten instructions, additional examples, and interactive code samples that can be run directly within the docs. This update also brings smarter auto-completion, new music, official Traditional Chinese localization, as well as numerous improvements and bug fixes.
About "Code Farm":
Program and continuously optimize your drones to automate your farm. Sit back and watch it handle Everythinggj for you; collect resources, unlock cutting-edge technology, and become the most efficient farmer in the world. Enjoy the game while improving your problem-solving and coding skills.
