Call of Duty: Warzone will launch its content crossover with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Season 1 on November 6, debuting with the Hajin and Zodiac maps and a large-scale 120-player Resurgence mode. Upon the update's release, support for Xbox One and PS4 players will be discontinued.
Zodiac is set in a drone manufacturing facility in South Korea and is a Resurgence map that appeared during the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III beta. Hajin is a large-scale Battle Royale map spanning the Korean Peninsula region, sharing terrain with the same-named location in DMZ, and featuring dynamic weather and two new Gulags. Rebirth Island and Verdansk will return to the rotation in later stages of the season, with Verdansk receiving new Points of Interest.
In terms of weapons, players can use all weapons and attachments from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and those added in Season 1. Legacy weapons carried over since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, as well as blueprints already acquired by players, will also remain available.
This crossover will also adjust several systems. All players can use Tactical Sprint without equipping perks, though its duration will be slightly shorter, and you can drag teammates during revives. Map visibility and footstep audio will be improved, and interactive cover such as movable oil drums and trash bins will be added to the environment.
Initial limited-time modes include Rally Point, Loaded Resurgence, and Massive Resurgence supporting 120 players, with casual modes covering both Battle Royale and Resurgence maps. Additionally, new Weapon Mastery Camo challenges and returning events will be introduced. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Season 1 is scheduled to go live globally at midnight ET on November 6 and will make its debut on Nintendo Switch.
