"Steal the Sky, Swap Lives" Demo Expected Late November; Double Jump Synchronizes Character and World Switching

ContinueGames has announced that the PC single-player action game "Steal Heaven, Swap Fate" is scheduled to release a demo in late November, with the full version planned for 2027. Featuring pixel art graphics, the game blends cyberpunk and Chinese mythology into a "dual-character, dual-world" mechanic.

Each time the player uses a double jump, they switch between a swordsman and a Taoist priest, causing the current world to change accordingly. Players must combine the unique abilities of both characters to overcome enemies and terrain obstacles.

Combat emphasizes one-hit kills and high-risk decision-making. Players can precisely parry and deflect bullets, use talismans to immobilize enemies, or slow down time to find opportunities for fatal strikes, but a single mistake can result in instant death.

When facing enemies in levels, players don't have to rely solely on direct attacks. They can plan routes in advance, utilize traps and environmental hazards, or even lure enemies into restraining each other to create chain reactions. Narrative choices throughout the game also have consequences; killing or sparing characters can lead to different outcomes and endings.

"Steal Heaven, Swap Fate" is developed and published by ContinueGames, with plans to launch on Steam. The game supports multiple languages, including Simplified Chinese.
