On November 4, Capcom launched the Dungeon Meshi collaboration for Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen and released a promotional video. The collaboration introduces official Pawns based on Laios and Marcille, as well as special outfits themed after their attire.
The two official Pawns are modeled after characters from Dungeon Meshi and created using the game's character creation system. Players can hire them at the Otherworldly Stone to have Laios and Marcille join their adventure. The special outfits can be equipped by player characters or Pawns.
The event for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam versions began on November 4, while the Nintendo Switch 2 version will go live on November 12. The collaboration across all platforms will last until the release of the update on January 29, 2027.
During the event, players need to launch the game and load their save file, after which the special outfits will be added to the in-game storage. Once obtained within the period, they can continue to be used even after the event ends. This content applies to both Dragon's Dogma 2 and Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen.
This TU4.2 update also includes bug fixes. As both titles revolve around party adventures in fantasy worlds, this collaboration not only features character costumes but also allows the crossover characters to directly join the party through the official Pawn system.
