Gotcha Gotcha Games released version 2.1 of Action Game Maker G on November 4. The update frees the editor from its Windows-only environment by adding support for macOS and Linux, while further expanding the platforms available for project exports.
The Mac version requires macOS 11 Big Sur or later and an M1 or subsequent Apple silicon chip. The Linux version targets distributions released after 2020, with supported systems including Ubuntu 20.04, Debian 11, Fedora 32, and later versions.
The tool originally allowed exporting projects to PC, Android, and HTML5. Version 2.1 adds export options for macOS, iOS, and Linux. Alongside the new iOS export capability, the update introduces a virtual gamepad feature, which can also be used in Android and HTML5 builds to provide touch controls for devices without physical buttons.
Additionally, version 2.1 redesigns the visual scripting user interface. This update also expands support for the development environment, game publishing platforms, and mobile input methods. For specific export procedures and platform-specific publishing requirements, please refer to the tool's documentation.
