Famitsu has released the review scores for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake. Four reviewers gave scores of 9, 9, 9, and 10 respectively, totaling 37/40, which is currently the first publicly released media score for this version.
This score ties with the Nintendo 3DS version released in 2011, but does not reach the score of the original Nintendo 64 version. The latter received a perfect 40/40 from Famitsu in 1998.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake is scheduled for release on November 5, 2026, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series. The themed console and Pro Controller are set to launch on October 29, while two new amiibo figures are planned for release in 2027.
