GTA 6 PS5 Pro Page Allegedly Leaks PSSR and Advanced Ray Tracing Support

The French PlayStation website may have prematurely revealed PS5 Pro enhancement details for GTA VI. The page briefly mentioned PSSR and more advanced ray tracing, but this text was later removed, leaving it unconfirmed whether these technologies will be included in the final version.

According to Reddit users, the page mentioned PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, Sony's AI-based image upscaling technology for 4K displays. It also stated that advanced ray tracing would improve reflections, shadows, and lighting, but provided no details on quality modes, output resolution, frame rate targets, or specific performance configurations.

The leaked snippet also included the phrase "Toto's Katana," which is unrelated to GTA VI and clearly points to Ghost of Yōtei, likely due to a copy-paste error in the page template. As a result, the authenticity of the PSSR and advanced ray tracing descriptions, as well as the final wording, remain questionable.

PlayStation France currently still labels GTA VI as "PS5 Pro Enhanced." While dedicated optimizations are confirmed, the specific enhancements have not been officially detailed. Sony and Rockstar previously stated that the PS5 version would leverage DualSense, the fast SSD, and Tempest 3D Audio. Reports indicate the game is scheduled to launch on PS5 and PS5 Pro on November 19, 2026.
