Market analytics firms estimate that Phantasm Blade Zero has generated approximately $123 million in revenue from Steam and PlayStation outside of mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, accounting for 55% of total income. Following the review embargo lift, its daily revenue in the US market grew continuously, increasing roughly 8.5-fold over four days.
Phantasm Blade Zero had already garnered strong support in the Chinese market prior to its release. Alinea Analytics' head of market analysis estimated that pre-sales had long exceeded 1 million copies, with mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong collectively accounting for 62.5% at that time. Even excluding these regions, the title would still rank among the top 20 new releases of 2026 by revenue across Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms.
When pre-orders opened on Steam in mid-August, the Chinese market accounted for about 70% of the game's revenue. After the State of Play showcase on August 18, daily revenue in the US rose from $72,000 to $146,000, while China's increased from $237,000 to $892,000, with revenue in other regions more than doubling as well.
After the review embargo lifted, daily revenue in the US rose from $106,000 on October 25 to $230,000, $463,000, and $899,000 consecutively. As of November 2, China's cumulative revenue share dropped from approximately 68% to 45%, while the US share increased from 10% to 18%, and other regions rose from 25% to 38%. These figures are estimates by analytics firms and not official sales or financial data released by the developer.
