Deep Worlds announced that the Early Access window for "Operation Radiance" has been postponed to Q3 2027, targeting July to September, with no specific date announced yet. The game is a PvPvPvE tactical extraction shooter emphasizing squad-based actions, anomalies, and horror atmosphere, and has previously undergone testing and previews.
The development team stated that the primary reason for the delay is that the current content volume and polish level have not yet met requirements. The release of "GTA 6" may make it harder to gain visibility during the original planned period, but the team emphasized that this was only a secondary factor influencing the decision.
Recent playtest feedback prompted the team to establish a new improvement roadmap, including balancing playable anomalies, introducing mercenary contracts, adding and refining enemy NPCs, and supplementing weapons, sights, and attachments. Level and reputation systems, as well as gameplay diversity, are also within the scope of future improvements.
Deep Worlds stated that the team did not want to launch Early Access in a rough state, and plans to use the additional development time to prepare future updates in advance, avoiding content gaps after release.
The development team plans to continue organizing monthly tests and will invite a wider range of community members to participate in closed beta testing from December 26 to 28. The new Q3 window remains the target schedule, but the final release date has not yet been determined.
