A Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 player showcased an Oris 8.6 marksman rifle loadout that enhances mobility and handling while maintaining high damage. The video demonstrates multiple one-shot kills with this setup, which can also be used for more aggressive run-and-gun playstyles, albeit at the cost of reduced accuracy and fire rate.
The five attachments demonstrated by player Rasclart0 Xash are the EXP Crosstac 22" Long Barrel, VX86 Heavy Bolt, No Stock, OPS-45 XP Skeleton Grip, and a 20-round magazine. The long barrel improves range, while the no stock and grip focus on mobility and handling. The 20-round magazine doubles the standard ammo capacity, providing more room for consecutive kills.
This loadout isn't solely focused on long-range precision shooting; instead, it gives the Oris 8.6 reaction speeds closer to those of standard multiplayer assault rifles. Due to its low fire rate, missing the first shot still carries a significant penalty, making it better suited for smaller maps and less chaotic modes.
The game launched with 33 weapons across nine categories, and the balance update on October 28 adjusted the Han 86, Oden, M4, Kastov 762, and several SMGs. With Season 1 approaching, the weapon meta may still shift; there is currently no indication that the Oris 8.6 has been targeted for nerfs. This loadout remains a situational recommendation based on player demonstrations, not an officially recognized best-in-slot setup.
