Nintendo released the 2.0.0 update for "Pikmin 4" on November 4, preparing for the Nintendo Switch 2 version. This patch adds an upgrade entry point and fixes other issues on both the Nintendo Switch 2 and the original Nintendo Switch.
After launching the game on Nintendo Switch 2, players can find the "About the Nintendo Switch 2 Version" option in the title menu, which leads to the upgrade package page on the Nintendo eShop. Players who have already purchased the upgrade package will need to wait until November 12 to play the corresponding version.
The official description indicates that some features of the Nintendo Switch 2 version of "Dandori Academy" require an internet connection, including taking exams and downloading or publishing levels.
The demo version of "Pikmin 4" has also received the same 2.0.0 update. Additionally, the demo for "Pikmin 4 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Everyone's Dandori Exam" is now available for download.
