On November 4, 2026, Nintendo released version 1.3.4 for the Switch 2 racing game Kirby: Sky Riders, fixing scoring anomalies and match stagnation issues that could affect normal tournament progression. This patch does not adjust the performance of riders or machines.
The update fixes an issue in the "Gourmet Race" stadium event where Guy would occasionally earn higher-than-expected scores when collecting food. Issues with the "Kirby Clash" stadium event have also been addressed; previously, performing certain actions with specific riders and machines before a match could cause the game to stop progressing. The patch also adjusts several other gameplay issues.
After upgrading, version 1.3.4 may not be compatible with replays saved in versions 1.3.0 to 1.3.3, and is incompatible with version 1.2.0 and earlier. Players who wish to preserve this content need to convert their replays into videos using the recording feature in Cache Data and Data Replay before downloading the update. This feature requires a microSD Express card.
The latest in-game event has replaced the Halloween event, featuring the rules from the "Shadow Star Revenge" event that appeared in March 2026. This event will run until November 9.
